i'm surprised no one else i follow on here has posted this, i expected a lot of people to go mental over them. i hope it's because no one really likes lily allen. i don't either but i think they're lovely photos. i still don't think she's attractive without make up on (but then who is?).

is this cardigan really wrong? i know its hard to make out as its too dark in my room but its a long purple leopard print cardigan. i never thought i'd wear a thing this purple or this leopard print but i actually really liked it and it's a nice fit. honestly though, is it hideous? (£8 from asda)

its not a real russian doll, its just a piggy bank but i thought it was very cute and at only £3 from next a nice little addition to my bedroom.

hey everybody, sorry i've been a bit quiet of late, i've been working a lot and then it was christmas and then i worked some more. i hope you all had fabulous christmases and everybody got all the treats they wished for! i have now since left my job so expect a lot more posts from me. starting now.

christmas eve my dad took me and my older sister, lucy, to harrods. whilst we were there we couldn't help but check out the sales that had already started and daddy couldn't help spoiling us both. i am now the proud owner of these carvela at kurt geiger boots. its true love.



i honestly can't think of anything in my wardrobe they don't go with and they give me the added height i require on a daily basis without compromising comfort. win, win.

that's it for now but i will be posting up all the yummy fashion treats i got for christmas in a post soon.

sorry for my lack of blogging i've been working a lot. last night i served the singer from the hoosiers at work. he ordered a bottle of champagne. i didn't even really believe we sold champagne.

last night josh stole the club sandwich inflatable sandwich but unfortunately got taken down by security. we also had an improptu house party and i know the mess isn't going to get tidied up before my dad comes tomorrow to take me home. tonight is my last night in new cross for a while but i am so ready to go home and have a break.

mouse update : we've caught 2 now in our mouse trap set up in the kitchen. apparently they can't resist peanut butter.

yesterday i watched 'good bye lenin!', SUCH a good film. such an interesting plotline that manages to be moving and funny at the same time, i don't think anyone could not like it (its german and subtitled, get over it).

so today me and rob made a trip to the amersham arms for the bi-monthly jumble sale, aptly named 'JUMBLE' where i picked up this crushed velvet night dress for £1. with a couple of snips with my scissors voila, i'm kicking off the velvet christmas, festive non?




then we headed to deptford market where i kicked off my christmas shopping where i made a bold choice of present for somebody who reads this blog ;)

this year, my present to you.

this came out last christmas but i didn't have a blog then. i was aware it because i'm a josh weller fan but paloma faith has made it big this year so its more relevant now anyway, also because i had the pleasure of spotting josh weller at deptford darling at the bunker club in deptford last friday. we had some eye contact.

kids are awesome

this little french girl is called capucine and her mum has made a whole channel of her own here. my personal favourites are how excited she gets opening her mail and the one where she wants to hide from her papa how many sweets she's eaten. argh man i want to have babies with a french man so they can speak french and be as cute as her. failing that i want babies with marshall from 'how i met your mother'.

films i need to see this month

i know time out completely poo-pooed 'nativity' but i think it looks good and a perfect christmas cliché.

and i can't wait for 'a single man' to come out.
