so my amazing sister called me up at 7 yesterday evening and surprised me with guestlist to go see aerosmith at the o2 that night. for those who don't know me well, i am a huge aerosmith and almost went to download at the weekend purely to see them and then two days later i get to go see them, for free, half an hour from where i live. it was one of the greatest nights of my life. steve tyler is a god. no they're not a joke band, bow down.

scaredy cat

i love this photo taken by my housemate ed on my birthday. its of the beautiful cat i've named scaredy cat that is always hanging out in our garden but will never let any of us get close to it.

the whole world is sleeping, i just lie up in my bed

a new addition to my bedroom walls i picked up from my visit to the museum of london yesterday (its gift wrap but i think its perfect as a poster too).

today has been very stressful. after my daily search for houses i began scouring gumtree for jobs, only actually applying for two and one of those was as a volunteer at the florence nightingale museum. i figured if i want to work in a museum i needed to get the ball rolling somehow. i've been feeling really discontented at the moment with my life so i'm gonna force myself along to white heat this evening i hope it goes away.

turning twenteen

on the 21st of may i turned twenty, the sun shone and cocktails were drank, i got nicely sozzled and had a fantastic birthday.
