hiatus explained

SORRY ABOUT THAT. i got carried away with work/ looking for a new job/ going away and neglected to post anything, oops. SO a few things:

1) if you follow me on twitter (which you should, i tweet a lot) i hopped over the channel to spend a long weekend with my lovely french friend pauline. i had an amazing time & the weather was glorious, photos to follow when i get my film developed.

2) whilst sunbathing in parc des buttes chaumont (#smug) on sunday i finished reading patti smith's 'just kids' and i would highly recommend. such a beautifully told love story with all the real bits left in as well as an insight into patti smith's fascinating life.

3) a little off topic but next have a too-good-not-to-share collection of boots in their sale right now. all pairs shown below are between £20 and £35, you're welcome.

my hair is a complete boring mess all the time that i can barely do anything with, however (after watching a few youtube tutorials) i managed to attempt a 1940's victory roll. as you can see i still need a bit of practise, does anyone have any tips for pulling this off with short hair?

jeans / george / £10.00

it's not really i just wanted to use aerosmith lyrics for the title of this post. i haven't worn jeans since 2007 (i remember because it was the day i passed my driving test) and yet last night i impulsively bought this dull pink pair. i don't know what happened i just really wanted to try them and so here we are, opinions? about the jeans that is, i'm fully aware of how awful my hair is and that i look very grumpy.

if anyone is looking for some odd (in a good way) coloured jeans then these are from george at asda and there's a few other lovely colours for only £10.00 - i was very tempted by the duck egg blue as well.

i would really like an excuse to buy this lovely dress so if anyone has a wedding/ christening/ bar mitzvah that they'd like to invite me to that'd be just great.

there was a time when i was at uni where all i pretty much wore was some kind of white top, either black leggings or a black skirt and a black leather biker jacket, its such a simple and classic look. i'd like to get back into it except this time with red/bright pink/ purple lipstick.
