i don't know how much my followers in other countries, or indeed my u.k based readers for that matter, know about the march for the alternative that happened over the weekend but i was there (and i urge you to find out more). i didn't see or participate in any violence, the march i went on was great fun - there were lots of friendly people, ace speakers in hyde park and an overall great atmosphere. my friend sam (another friend of mine i know IRL) took photos/wrote some words about it for mint magazine and i highly recommend a look.
after seeing this photo on the guardian website how could i not post it? tony benn, what a legend.
